چکیده

The present work represents potential bio-sorbents: Tilia cordata (little leaf linden) and Foeniculum vulgare (fennel). copper removal was operated in batch procedure. Adsorbent mass, ion concentration, pH, time, temperature considerations were inspected. highly beneficial provisions for adsorption are 10 mg /L as preliminary 0.2 g mass pH 5.5 5.23 vulgare. Adsorption statistics follow the Langmuir isotherm with qmax of 29.35 mg/g 32.98 procedure kinetics provided perfectly via second-order equations. It revealed that on mutual bio-sorbents is a spontaneous procedure, endothermal Characterization (vulgare fennel) inspected scanning electron microscope (SEM), Vis-IR Spectroscopy, GC-mass milling cutter. A distinctive development adsorbent surface exhibited through microscope. efficiency reached to 93.34 & 95.4 (Tilia cordata) Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) respectively at 0.5 M bio-sorbent which indicated has good renderability stability.

Activated Carbon Modified with Copper for Adsorption of Propanethiol

Activated carbons were characterized texturally and chemically before and after treatment, using surface area determination in the BET model, Boehm titration, TPR, DRX and immersion calorimetry. The adsorption capacity and the kinetics of sulphur compound removal were determined by gas chromatography. It was established that the propanethiol retention capacity is dependent on the number of oxyg...

Adsorption of Reactive Dye Using Agricultural Waste - a Kinetic Approach

This study was designed to investigate the removal of reactive violet 48 from wastewater using Commercial activated carbon and Coir pith activated carbon. Its adsorption capacity has been tested for the decolourization of waste water containing reactive violet 48. The effect of system variables such as concentration, temperature, contact time and pH were studied. The adsorption data follow Lang...

Adsorption Efficiency of Iron Modified Carbons for Removal of Pb(II) Ions from Aqueous Solution

Abstract Introduction: The Lead causes severe damage to several systems of the body, especially to bony tissues. Until now, several low-cost biosorbents have been studied for removal of heavy metal ions from aqueous solutions. In the present study, carbonized pomegranate peels modified with Fe2+ and Fe3+ ions and then it was investigated for removal of Pb(II) ions from aqueous solution. ...

Transient Adsorption of Sulfate Ions during Copper Electrodeposition

Surface-enhanced Raman scattering ~SERS! spectroelectrochemical investigations have been carried out in real time on the electrodeposition of copper from sulfuric acid solutions. Sulfate spectra were observed during copper deposition, but not on a copper surface at the same potential in the absence of copper ions in solution. This indicated that sulfate adsorption is a transient process associa...
